WATER SAVING PRODUCTS

It is likely that water will become a major resource challenge in the short to medium term future, as South Africa is categorised as a 'water scarce' country.  ISS has developed two primary products to minimise utility dependence and increase water savings:

a. RAINWATER HARVESTING SYSTEMS

The installation of rainwater harvesting systems, including water storage will generate a considerable reduction in the consumption of municipal water otherwise used for toilets, washing and gardens. These systems afford especially households, but also businesses, a degree of independence from utility water.

b. GREY-WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

It is expected that grey-water systems will be installed in conjunction with rainwater systems as they are compatible as water saving systems.  The benefits of these systems are the same as those for rainwater harvesting systems.

c. WATER FILTRATION SYSTEMS

Dedicated filtered drinking water integrated into your kitchen.
