footprintz eco solutions was established in 2004 by ISS shareholder, Paula Osborn.  In 1993 she developed a collaborative printing process which creates a saving of over 90 aluminium lithographic plates on every business card run.  This approach to printing creates savings for clients and creates a 2-fold environmental saving: collaborative printing lessens the depletion of un-renewable resources as well as save on emissions AND energy associated with re-smelting.

Also, Footprintz now offers printing on high quality recycled papers, in an effort to minimise the environmental damage and deforestation caused by plantations, using vegetable based, lead-free inks to reduce the use of harmful chemicals associated with conventional printing.

Sustainable Architecture

ISS works closely with a number of environmental architects that will design buildings or homes with sustainable systems and energy saving interventions built into the design.  ISS believes that new houses and buildings that incorporate integrated sustainable systems will be more cost effective than attempting to add them later.  We earnestly advise those planning on building new homes or buildings consider this option.  We will advise on the best architectural company to suit your particular requirements, whether an office block, housing development or individual home.
