We feel a responsibility to inform all those considering combustion generators to carefully consider the economic (and environmental) unsustainability of petrol or diesel generators. Rising fuel costs, maintenance, as well the air and noise pollution of generators make them a short term solution to a long-term problem.  Furthermore, the unstable power source could damage any equipment that is powered from a generator, which would make any guarantees on your equipment null and void, making them even more economically unviable.

PURE SINE-WAVE BACK-UP INVERTER AND CHARGER SYSTEMS

Pure Sine wave is the cleanest form of power supply.  It is more stable than Eskom power.  This means critical equipment will be safe from any spikes that could damage or destroy equipment.  Any guarantees on equipment that is being run from our back-up systems will therefore be more secure.

Initial demand is expected to be greatest for electrical back-up systems. To reduce product lines and costs, we have optimised our systems to support the current load shedding regime, providing clients with uninterrupted power to critical hardware such as computers, telecommunications, switchboards, lighting and audio visual equipment for small business or domestic applications. On the larger commercial and light industrial scale, we can provide inverter/battery systems for refrigeration and machinery.  The pure-sine wave and bi-directional systems we supply (and promote) are sufficiently modular and flexible to deal with changes in power demand and power sources.

We have a range of inverters for both BUSINESS and RESIDENTIAL applications ranging from 1.4 kVA to 18 kVA and up.  We can advise on the most suitable system based on an investment in a long term energy management system that can become the back-bone of a sustainable energy production system in the future.

We strongly advise those interested in back-up Inverters to use an integrated technical support company such as ISS, as the many variables in calculating the RIGHT systems for specific applications is vital.  Incorrect calculations in inverter capacity, storage or installation could result in damage to equipment, diminished life-span of batteries or in some cases fire.  Our expert and technical AND electrical installation teams have ample experience to supply and install the correct equipment for your specific application safely and efficiently.

Furthermore, our electronics department has the capacity to manufacture custom made LARGE inverters for specific applications. 

ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM:

Batteries are expensive and have short life-spans if they are not managed well.  Our technical team will make sure that your back-up systems will never allow your batteries to be discharged below 50% of their total storage capacity and that the charging rate is sufficient to recharge as a trickle charge over 12 hours.  This will ensure a longer life-span on your batteries.

We also offer a battery recycling service that ensures that batteries and their high acid and lead contents are not released into land-fills, that would ultimately contribute to ground water pollution.
